Those present at the June 18, 2016 inauguration surely remember the impressive aerial silk performance of Anouk Vallée-Charest. She loved her Sutton experience so much that she came back for a week in October to work on a solo project. Mathieu Leroux returned to the residence in November; this third stay enabled him to focus on writing his novel entitled Avec un poignard. A meeting was organized to allow him to share with the public his writing process as well as the travel stories that feed his imagination.

Poet, writer and novelist, Jonathan Harnois is the recipient of many awards. His first novel, Je voudrais me déposer la tête, was so well received by the public that a theatrical adaptation followed. Jonathan stayed at the artists’ residence in August where he was able to continue his creative process.
