Open house with La Compagnie Brimbalante on May 11th
Annab Aubin-Thuot (born in Sutton) and Julie Chazal intermingle poetry, music, and clownish art through their two characters, Babiole and Berlingot, in a 75-minute show titled Où es-tu matière? (Matter where are you?)
The two artists have created a clown duet with strong contrasts, combining comic spirit, whimsical power, and poetic action. This duet, inspired by the work of Réjean Ducharme, hovers between the pathetic and the tragic.
La Compagnie Brimbalante opens the doors of the residence on Saturday May 11 from 2@4 to offer you an excerpt from their show.
From 2 h @ 3 h, the artists will present an excerpt to small groups
From 3 h @ 4 h, group discussion with all in the residence or outside, according to the weather.
