Our activities in the D’Arts et de rêves Cultural Park this summer

Experience wonderful moments, admire, discover... all that and more in the Cultural Park

Once again this summer, you will have the chance to discover artists during the activities planned in our Cultural Park, at 57 Principale Street North, Sutton.

You may have already seen our programme in Le Tour, Summer 2022 edition. In case you missed it, here are the circus shows, exhibitions, musical events, and more that we are offering as part of the JEUDI (THURSDAY) DAR and SAMEDI (SATURDAY) DAR programming.

  • Meeting with Ralph Elawani, writer, 2 p.m.
  • June 24
  • LEGAL HOLIDAY
  • 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Show in the form of a guided tour of the Cultural park with artist Dolorèze Léonard who will introduce us to Madame Samantha, her new character.
  • 1 p.m.: Picnic in the park with Madame Samantha. Put on a smile and don’t forget your tablecloth and lunch.
  • 3 p.m.: Performance by the Almut Ellinghaus Jazz Ensemble with Almut Ellinghaus voice, Claude Prud'homme guitar, Michael Hynes piano, and Stanley Lake trumpet.

  • Meeting with Yves Arcand, photographer, at 2 p.m.

  • Meeting with Sébastien Michaud, visual artist, 2 p.m.

  • Interactive exhibition starting at 2 p.m. and meeting with Sophie Perry, visual artist and recipient of our visual arts scholarship.

  • Meeting with Laurence Leduc-Primeau, author and recipient of our literary arts scholarship, 2 p.m.
  • Sept. 1
  • JEUDI DAR
  • Meeting with two artists: Sylvie Painchaud, visual arts, at 2:30 p.m. and Claire Varin, literary arts, at 3:30 p.m.
  • September, date TBA
  • SAMEDI DAR
  • Storytelling evening with Les Ceuzes-là (Éric Jacques, Charles Proteau, Daniel Haché, and Mathieu Viens).
  • Nov. 22

  • Meeting with Yolanda Weeks, visual artist, 2 p.m.

To be seen and admired throughout the summer:
A chimney for chimney swifts

This chimney was erected in the D’Arts et de rêves Cultural Park to house chimney swifts, an endangered species. This project was carried out in collaboration with the Granby Zoo.
