You might recall the article on André Fournelle in our September 2021 newsletter (L’interdit damoclèse by André Fournelle at the D’Arts et de rêves Park) . André is the generous artist who donated L'interdit damoclèse, a magnificent sculpture that stands out in the DAR Park.

This fall, André was honored by his peers who presented him with the Prix Paul-Émile-Borduas 2021. "This award represents the highest distinction given to an individual for outstanding contributions to the visual arts, fine crafts or digital arts in Quebec.” (Prix du Québec 2021: André Fournelle récipiendaire du Prix Paul-Émile Borduas - Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels (raav.org))

André answered a few questions about his creative work, about artists, about the next generation of artists... it is very interesting to hear him talk about his world. Take a few minutes to listen to this short interview and I am sure you will agree with me. André Fournelle - Prix Paul-Émile Borduas 2021.
