Two former resident artists awarded prizes.
Élise Turcotte
Élise Turcotte completed a residency at D'Arts et de rêves in September 2018 to finish her latest novel, L'apparition du chevreuil. This book, published by Alto in 2019, has just been awarded the Prix Ringuet de l’Académie des lettres du Québec.
Jonathan Harnois-Poirier
The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec recently announced the artists selected as part of the Programme de partenariat territorial de la Montérégie-Est. Author Jonathan Harnois-Poirier, who completed a residency with us in August 2017, receives a $20,000 prize for a writing project with a social vocation that will address, in the form of a poetic monologue, the theme of listening: Je rêve d'humains qui écoutent.
